Quality isn't a word that is often thrown around with respect to a landscaping business.  But at Sampson's Landscaping, we want to brag a little.  

Quality is the sum of various other characteristics that you should expect in any home contractor: experience, repetition, and learning from mistakes.  With over 15 years in the business, owner Aaron Sampson has got the chops, and has built a reputation for quality based on those three traits.

Experience

Aaron and most of his crew have been at this awhile- together, as a team. Most employees have been with us over five years. We know how to accomplish goals together, work off one another's strengths, and keep a project moving. Every one of us has spent significant time designing landscapes in Marin County and surrounding areas. We know the soils, the microclimates, and the native plant species.

Repetition

Anyone who says landscape design and installation isn't rocket science is right.  But its not far from it.  Sure, anyone can lay sod or install some drip line.  But we have demanding clients, and we like them that way.  They are particular.  They are insistent on perfection.  We wouldn't have it any other way.  To become a landscaping expert, you have to do the same type of work over and over.  Lots of retaining walls, dozens of drainage systems, tons of concrete and flagstone.  By loving what we do, by taking extreme pride in crafting exquisite environments, by installing these projects again and again, each with their own nuances and variances, we've become experts in our field.

Learning From Our Mistakes

We're not here to pretend we are perfect. We're very, very good, and 99 times out of 100 we're spot on. But once in a while we make a wrong decision, take a bad measurement, or mix up a runny batch of mortar.  As the years have passed, we're happy to see things go wrong less often, but we relish the chance to evaluate our successes and mistakes, teach each other, fix them and move on. That's how you learn and grow; how you become an expert in your craft. And have no doubt, Sampson's Landscaping are a team of experts.

We Are Experts

We all choose to live here for obvious reasons.  We love the North Bay Area for the same reasons you do, and are happy to enrich our client's lives by creating wonderful outdoor spaces for them.  We love what we do and take pride in our work.  But most importantly, we know what we're doing.  We are landscaping experts.
